The CSE Institute is partnering with Villanova University Athletics, the Villanova University Center for Peace and Justice Education, and the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law Jeffrey S. Moorad Center for the Study of Sports Law to present “Shut Out Trafficking,” a week-long anti-human trafficking program.
“Shut Out Trafficking” will feature presentations from figures in sports, law enforcement, social justice, and academia. The goal of the week’s events is to ignite social change through awareness and education.
Villanova Athletics is hosting the program in conjunction with the National Consortium for Academics and Sports (NCAS) and the U.S. Fund for UNICEF’s End Trafficking Program. During the 2015-16 academic year, eight member schools of the NCAS have hosted or will host a Shut out Trafficking Week. We are proud of the Villanova community for engaging in this effort to combat human trafficking.
“Shut Out Trafficking” Week will begin on Monday, March 14. Read here for more information. We hope to see you there!
