The Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia was designed to help address the professional needs and development of black lawyers in the city of Philadelphia and throughout the surrounding community. Each year, The Association holds its’ Annual Memorial Breakfast to honor Martin Luther King, Jr., where they also award a select number of distinguished individuals and organizations for their work in the community. Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law class of 2006 graduate, CSE Institute Advisory Board Member, and State Representative for the 191st Legislative District, Joanna McClinton, Esq., has been chosen to receive the “Outstanding Young Lawyer Award” during the upcoming event.
Rep. McClinton is a pillar of the Philadelphia legal community, as she is involved in various volunteer activities at numerous local organizations while also serving constituents in her role as state representative. The CSE Institute is honored to have her as a member of our advisory board and would like to congratulate her for this well deserved accomplishment.
The breakfast will take place on January 15, from 8 AM to 10 AM, at The Loews Hotel Regency Ballroom, 1200 Market Street, Philadelphia. Tickets must be purchased in advance for admission.
