The CSE Institute thanks the Honorable Lori Dumas for facilitating a training session for the First Judicial District judges regarding commercial sexual exploitation and Pennsylvania’s new anti-human trafficking statute, Act 105. Shea Rhodes, Esq., Director of the CSE Institute and Jamie Manirakiza, Director of Anti Trafficking and Social Services of the Salvation Army, led the training session. The training included a comprehensive look at Act 105 and its implications, insight into trauma and how trauma affects victim reactions, and advice on how to recognize when someone may be a victim of commercial sexual exploitation and how to handle those situations.
