We would like to extend our congratulations and continued gratitude to Advisory Board Member, Judge Lori A. Dumas, a Philadelphia Family Court judge who established the city’s Juvenile Human Trafficking Court just last year. This month, Judge Dumas will receive three distinct honors, each recognizing her efforts to combat sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation of minors in Philadelphia.
The National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges named Judge Dumas their Innovator of the Year, celebrating her leadership role in the creation of the Juvenile Human Trafficking Court. On April 24th, the Philadelphia Coalition for Victim Advocacy will award Judge Dumas the Judicial Court Award in acknowledgement for her unwavering support of crime victims. In addition, Judge Dumas will be honored with the prestigious Women’s Way Powerful Voice Award on April 30th.
